I enjoyed being the guest editor to this Special Edition of the Journal of the Siam Society on Thai amulets. Even if it’s not something you’d think you’d be interested in, there’s a lot of quirky stuff in there and Thai amulets turn out to be much more relevant and popular than you might have thought.
